Paul Harrison

Paul HarrisonPaul has over 15 years physio experience, specialising in sports injuries and work-related spinal pain.

In 2009 he worked at the US Masters in Augusta as the personal physiotherapist to 6 professional golfers including Tim Clark, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose and Freddy Jacobsen.

After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1992, he worked in Brisbane for two years before heading to the UK where he worked with professional Rugby League and Basketball Teams, and as resident physio at Lords Cricket Ground.

During this time he built on his interest in core muscle stabilisation, becoming an instructor in Rehabilitative Pilates, and has since used this approach to help clients manage long-term neck and back pain.

He returned to Australia in 2001 to work at the Goodwill Games, and since being based in Sydney has been part of the Bodyaware Physiotherapy team, working in the practices in the CBD, Manly Rugby Colts and the Country Juniors Rugby Team.

  • ASMF Sports Trainer
  • Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute – Level 1 and 2 matwork/ swiss ball / reformer / certified group rehab instructor
  • Conducts corporate training courses for neck and back pain management
